ABOUT US

Destiny, fate, karma, divine intervention ... there are events in our life which are pre-ordained by the Heavens, some before our birth.  How we handle those events and individuals placed on our life's path ultimately determines our success or failure.

I started competitively ballroom dancing at the age of 16, a passion that has never gone away.  In the early 80's, I reached a point where I realized my life was going nowhere.  I woke up one morning, packed whatever I could fit into two suitcases, took the Amtrack across country to Los Angeles, and flew to Hawaii.  That decision placed the people on my life's path that I needed for friendship, family, love, and success.

I lived in Hawaii for two years, then made the choice to move to San Francisco and attend U.C. Berkeley for grad school.  One afternoon, a classmate approached me in a panic.  His girlfriend broke off their relationship, he had a political event to attend that evening, heard of my ballroom dancing prowess, and asked me to accompany him.  I was introduced to Washington's elite ... a pity date turned into an amazing career opportunity in the legal profession.

In response to a work crisis, five couples rallied to save my sanity, and encouraged my dance partner and I to form Last Goddess Enterprises.  We initially set out to use our talents to raise funds for abused children or children in the system.  Over the years, our focus has changed and expanded.  Word spread amongst the international ballroom community turning competitors into much loved and treasured friends and eager volunteers.
